Mobile Communication System

to purchase, please CONTACT US

The Phoenix ® Mobile Communication System allows five users wearing headsets to communicate with each other in full duplex over a 300,000+ sq ft area. Included in the system is our revolutionary and patented Bluetooth ® mobile conferencing base unit along with five Callpod Dragon headsets, a Callpod Drone USB adapter and a Chargepod.

The MCS ships pre-paired and certified with the included Dragon headsets and Drone. Simply turn on the unit and it will automatically establish a full duplex audio link with the headsets.

When you optionally pair the Phoenix base unit to your mobile phone and make call, all five participants will be speaking in full duplex with the party on the other end, creating true mobile conferencing. Noise gates and noise suppression algorithms reduce chatter in noisy environments.

Phoenix MCS is a perfect communication solution in an office, warehouse, retail, outdoor area, restaurant or tactical operation setting. The MCS is completely mobile with internal lithium ion battery for up to 10 hours of talk time and 300 hours standby.

1. What products are compatible with the Phoenix base unit?

Phoenix is compatible with Bluetooth®-enabled headsets, phones, PDAs, laptop computers and VOIP products.

2. What operating range can I expect?

The Phoenix base can transmit over 100 meters (328ft) in all directions. When you use Phoenix with the included Dragon Headsets, you can achieve over 100-meter range between the Phoenix and headsets.

3. How does the push-to-talk work?

When you use the Callpod Dragon headset with the Phoenix, the Dragon's multifunction button turns into a push-to-talk function. The user does not need to hold down the button to talk. One press of the multifunction button activates the audio channel in everyone's headset for hands-free communication. Any user can turn off their audio link by tapping the multifunction button on their Dragon headset. Additionally all channels have noise gates which prevent low level noise from causing chatter and noise on the system.

4. Is the Phoenix field-upgradable?

Yes, the Phoenix software can be upgraded with a standard mini-USB cable. We plan to offer customers the ability to control certain operational parameters via specific firmware versions. New firmware will be posted on the Support tab when available.

5. Can I travel internationally with the Mobile Communication System?

Yes, the Mobile Communication System ships with a removable head Chargepod which supports all WORLDWIDE standards.
